Turner, James M.James M. Turner age 91 of Hamilton passed away Thursday January 23, 2025. He was born August 2, 1933 in Talbert, Kentucky the son of the late Charlie Turner and Alice (Deaton) Turner. Mr. Turner was married to Lillie Maxine Turner and she preceded him in death in 2017. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during to Korean War. He retired after 30 years of service at the Ford Motor Company and the day after retirement he and his wife Maxine packed up their motor home and headed to Florida. He was the coach and pitcher of the 1968 Hamilton City Softball Champion Plaza Chef team. He also coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball for many years. Mr. Turner was a shuffleboard champion and he enjoyed golfing with his brothers-in-law Ralph Hazelwood and Jimmy Willis. He was also a leading harness racing driver at the Lebanon Raceway.
