Kenneth Dale Blandford, age 76, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born on July 7, 1948, in Dayton, he was the beloved husband of Maura Blandford, devoted father to Adam Blandford and Abigail Blandford, and cherished stepfather to Kelly Shafer, Tara Vitek, Joshua Vitek, and Jered Vitek. Ken was also the proud owner of his neurotically lovable dog, Clair de Lune.
Ken is also survived by his sister, Cindy McCann. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, Jerry, and Dan, and by their parents, John and Winifred Blandford.
Ken graduated from Archbishop Alter High School and went on to earn his degree from Wright State University. He dedicated 37 years of his career to the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities, where his impact was deeply felt by many.
